After a few days in Virginia, riding horses, meeting Brit Hume, petting goats and catching sunsets...

We took off and blew right through the top of Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania (with only a few stops - Chocolate World and Samuel the harness maker's shop)

and on above New York City. We landed in the fascinating and old town of Stafford Springs CT.
Then it was a day trip into Boston for a Science Museum Duck Tour via the Penelope Pru:

Tiana & Lex

It was a Blast - literally; cold, windy and totally fun! Lex even got to drive the duck out in the water - thrilling stuff for a 6 year old!

Lex as Captain!
Now today it is off to Martha's Vineyard for some cruising and playing and exploring. Yes, it's a tad chilly, but hey there really is something to be said for this off-season travel: : Less expensive, room on tours and ferries and total clearance prices in the stores :)

Ferry from Cape Cod to Martha's Vineyard

Shopping in MV, oh and a bit of photo taking too ;)

There are seriously more shells than rocks here!

Got to take some home for Grandma W!
... and that's it for now - it's New York City and Jersey to see if we can see Dad tomorrow!
